    Jim & Erin Cox

Jim and Erin Cox have lived in Barrio Viejo for over two decades. Together, they have built a life rooted in dedicated craft and design with a deep respect for community—honoring the way Barrio Viejo once thrived through the work they do and the life they lead. For more than 30 years, they have been actively involved in the local arts and music community, contributing time, talent, and care to downtown and the neighborhood they call home.

Jim Cox brings over 40 years of experience in woodworking and craftsmanship, specializing in furniture design, fabrication, and proper building techniques. His work reflects a deep understanding of materials, structure, and traditional methods, resulting in pieces built with intention, integrity, and longevity.

Erin Cox has worked in the fashion and hospitality industries for nearly 30 years, bringing a thoughtful, hands-on approach to her work and specializing in working closely with clients. Her background in draping and construction shapes her expertise in alterations, design, and vintage restoration, as well as custom wedding gowns and men’s suit tailoring.
